‘Singh is Kinng’ revolve just about the life of Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). He is really a king at heart - daring, feeling, and very helpful. Although he has all these excellent qualities, he is also a soul of human being, which means he is imperfect to some extent - foolhardy, accident prone and maybe even a little naive. Situation always betray him and his efforts to do any excellent almost always have a negative impact on the whole circumstances. The villagers are literally fed up by Happy, because whatever he tries to do, nearly always turns bad. One day because of their desperation, the villagers come up with a plan.

They decide to send Happy on a long trip to bring Lucky Singh (Sonu Sood) back to Punjab. Lucky is known as the 'King' of Australia’ because he is the boss of the underworld there. The villagers tell Happy that because of Lucky, Punjab's image in Australia is being blemished. So, now Happy leaves on a journey that takes him middle across the world. He is happy to take on this 'mission' and starts off his trip for Australia, accompanied by his friend, Tony Singh (Om Puri). In Australia, Happy meets a good-looking girl named Sonia (Katrina Kaif) and falls in love with her immediately.

Sonia is a very enjoyable loving and bubbly student, studying law. Her only flaw is that she loses her cool when confronted with criminals. However, not anything prepares Sonia for her fate as she finds herself bounded by a number of gangsters. On the other side, things take a funny turn as Happy runs into a series of misadventure. All these comic misunderstanding and shocking moments lead to an accidental wedding too. Will Happy be able to get back Lucky to Punjab? What will occur to Happy and Sonia’s love story? So Watch Singh is Kinng on 08 August 2008.

Canon EOS 1000D Review

Overall performance from the test camera was in line with previous Canon DSLR cameras we’ve reviewed. Autofocusing was fast and accurate under most conditions, although there were times when the camera selected an unsuitable focusing point and we had to resort to manual over-ride (the user manual warns you to expect this). In dim lighting, ‘hunting’ was negligible without the AF-assist light (which uses the built-in flash and only operates when the flash is up.
